Quality & Compliance
At The Bite Dental Inc, quality assurance is not an afterthought — it is the foundation of every restoration we fabricate. When you partner with us, you are working with a dental laboratory that holds itself to the highest material and workflow standards in the industry.
1. FDA-Compliant Materials
Every material we use — from milling blanks and 3D printing resins to porcelain powders and cements — is sourced exclusively from FDA-registered suppliers. We maintain active Certificates of Conformance (CoC) for all materials and make them available to your practice upon request. We do not substitute materials without documented written approval.
2. ISO-Aligned Workflow Standards
Our fabrication workflows are aligned with ISO 9001 quality management principles. This means every case that enters our lab follows a documented, repeatable process:
- Case Intake: All incoming prescriptions and digital impressions are logged and verified before fabrication begins.
- In-Process Checks: Restorations are inspected at each fabrication stage — design, milling/printing, finishing, and final QC.
- Outbound Verification: Every unit is checked against the original prescription before it ships to your practice.
3. Full Case Traceability
Every case we fabricate carries a permanent batch record linking the patient prescription, the technician(s) involved, the specific material lot numbers used, and all machine parameters at the time of fabrication. This ensures that in the rare event of a material recall or quality concern, we can trace every affected case instantly and notify your practice proactively.
4. Remake & Adjustment Policy
We stand behind every unit we ship. If a restoration does not meet the specifications outlined in your prescription — including occlusion, contacts, shade, and margin integrity — we will remake it at no charge. Our documented remake rate is under 1.8%, a benchmark we continuously work to improve.
5. Biocompatibility & Safety
All restorations fabricated at The Bite Dental Inc use only biocompatible materials that are safe for long-term intraoral use. Zirconia blanks, PMMA discs, and resin materials are all sourced from manufacturers with active ISO 10993 biocompatibility certifications.
6. Continuous Improvement
We conduct monthly internal audits of our quality metrics — including turnaround times, remake rates, and shade accuracy scores — and share relevant summary data with partner practices upon request. Our goal is a transparent, accountable relationship with every dentist we serve.
