Refund Policy
At The Bite Dental Inc, we specialize in high-end, custom dental laboratory fabrication. Because every restoration involves the immediate allocation of specialized materials, skilled technician time, and milling/printing resources, our refund and remake policy reflects the custom, perishable nature of our work.
1. Case Payments & Deposits
For all custom fabrication cases (such as crowns, bridges, digital dentures, aligners, and 3D printed appliances), billing is structured per the case fee schedule outlined in your Laboratory Services Agreement (LSA).
- Case Deposits: Any upfront case deposits required for complex or full-arch cases are non-refundable once fabrication has commenced. These funds are used immediately to order materials and allocate technician time.
- Case Cancellation Before Fabrication: If a case is cancelled before fabrication begins (typically within 24 hours of case intake confirmation), a full refund of any deposit will be issued.
- Case Cancellation After Fabrication Commences: No refund will be issued for cases where fabrication has already begun. The prescribing practice will be invoiced for materials and time incurred.
2. Remake Policy
We stand behind every restoration we ship. Remakes are offered at no charge under the following conditions:
- Laboratory Error: If a restoration does not match the prescription specifications (shade, margin, contour, contacts), we will remake it at no charge within 5 business days of the return.
- Eligibility Window: Remake requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original ship date. Restorations that have been cemented or delivered to the patient are not eligible for a no-charge remake.
- Clinical Adjustments: Remakes requested due to a change in clinical treatment plan or operator adjustment error are subject to our standard case fee.
3. Account Credits
In cases where a refund is not applicable but a billing error or quality concern is acknowledged, The Bite Dental Inc will issue an account credit to the requesting practice, applicable toward future case fees. Credits do not expire and are transferable within the same practice group.
4. Dispute Resolution
If you believe there has been a billing error, or if you are dissatisfied with a specific restoration, please contact our support team immediately at support@bitedentalabs.com. We are committed to resolving any quality or billing discrepancies to ensure the delivered restoration meets the specifications outlined in your original prescription.
